Marketing Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist will assist in the development, execution and delivery of integrated marketing programs. The Marketing Specialist is a key player in communicating with multiple departments, vendors and strategic partners. This position requires both marketing and writing skills, with a critical eye for branding and graphic design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our marketing team as well as coordinate and collaborate between internal departments, and other company outlets.
Support and help implement marketing initiatives using project management system to manage printed collateral, digital marketing, social media, website promotions, guest communications, etc.
Prepare materials and format content for graphic designer to execute; arrange printing with vendors; and assemble production material.
Provide copywriting and proof/editing for various marketing projects including, but not limited to, ads, flyers, brochures, etc.
Liaison between customer and product marketing team for marketing collateral needs and catalog proofing; works with corporate marketing and categories for image collection, delivery, and supply to customers as needed.
Prepare presentations as needed.
Work with marketing team to develop content.
Assist in coordinating public relations efforts.
Maintain the various marketing sites, import new data, update records and perform the necessary quality controls.
Maintain a digital directory of all projects on company server.
Assist in analyzing data and monthly reporting to track progress.
Co-ordinate and produce email marketing in support of our current products and categories.
Help organize and prepare photo shoots for our products.
Is highly organized to manage a number of ongoing client (internal and external) requests.
Be able to translate a corporate message, to “on the ground” activities that reflect well and are consistent with our brand standards.
Displays a can-do attitude.
Projects positive self-confidence on a continuing basis and is a team player.
Negotiates and solves difficult and challenging problems on a regular basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications, or a related field preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Familiarity working with marketing agencies, print production, and managing content design
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills
