Retail - Warehouse Associate-Retail

Based on our tremendous growth we are adding to our Retail Team.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of product logistics. Ensure accuracy of incoming shipments as well as properly applying product to orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect Shipping and Receiving area to make sure it is ready for the day
Ensure there are ample supplies such as labels, ink, tape, or anything else necessary to complete job functions
Make sure dock is clear for any incoming or outgoing packages
Process any incoming packages and log incoming packages into daily log
Inspect packages for any damage prior to accepting the delivery
Verify package contents for accuracy and report discrepancies according to the Overages, Shortages, Misshipment, Misreceival Policy
Identify and apply incoming product to any outstanding orders
Correctly barcode label stock items and place into the appropriate stock or warehouse location
Identify orders that requires embroidery, heat press, or tailoring, and place into the sew shop with a sewing form and a copy of the order
Process stock transfers, allocating for orders if necessary
Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging and labeling outgoing shipments accordingly
Answer emails
Address any issues that may arise during the day with incoming or outgoing shipments
Prepare daily email stating the shipping and receiving numbers for the day
Clean area before leaving for the day
Other duties, may include (but not limited to) counting inventory, straightening the store floor, cleaning, and reorganizing store or warehouse
Other duties as assigned
In order to avoid backups, be aware of the current status of work in all departments
Reports directly to Manager or Assistant Manager
Understand and follow the Delegation of Authority policy
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of one (1) year related experience
Two or more years of metric-binding experience in shipping
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Proficient computer skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures
Ability to adhere to Company safety policies and procedures
Must be able to present a clean, professional image
Must be able to keep work environment clean, presentable, and safe
Responsible for entering in daily time keeping requirements
Ability to pass criminal background check
Must have a record of stability with employment history
Must have an 'owners not renters' mentality
Ability to lift 40lbs
Must be able to stand for on the clock portion of work shift
