JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Administrative Assistant 1 reports to the Plant Manager and is the key source for administrative needs and coordination of tasks within our fast-paced Manufacturing Team. The Administrative Assistant 1 provides strong administrative support directly to our team leads, supervisors, and managers to help keep operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate needs to have previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment in order to be able to hit the ground running.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage employee schedules with management team, post and communicating staffing needs in production
Coordinate and track all sick and vacation requests
Prepare all safety tailgates and input training records into the Intelex system
Prepare shift pass down notes for supervisors for each shift
Review and revise SOPs with direction from management
Create safety and operations material to upload on communication monitor
Communicate production numbers to production planning and coordinate printing of daily schedules and revisions for the lines
Approve all timesheets in Dayforce timekeeping system and work with HR on any discrepancies
Put together training materials as directed by management
Input safety incidents into Intelex based on direction from supervisors and management
Keep inventory and order production supplies as needed i.e. lce, Ink, Salt
Pull quality records as necessary for management
Track all quality holds and OEE in real time - put together quality and OEE reports as requested
Run reports from Dayforce, JDE, Intelex as requested

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 or older at time of hire
High School Diploma or equivalent – AA degree preferred
3+ years providing solid administrative support to employees or supervisors in a production or manufacturing environment
Must be flexible in working overtime or other shifts due to operational needs
Proficient in MS Office and knowledge JDE application preferred
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
Ability to set priorities and work independently within set guidelines
Strong knowledge of production/manufacturing operations a plus
Provide good verbal and written communications to all levels of management, both internally and externally
Prioritize while able to adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Primary work environment is on the production floor and in an office
Position will be exposed to indoor and outdoor environments with varying noise levels
Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
